How the Typhon Drop System Works
There are three components to the Typhon Drop system: Typhon Logs which are audio recordings that Typhon left behind telling stories about his adventures, Typhon Dead Drops which are weapon caches that unlock after you've found enough logs on that planet, and the final Legendary Typhon Cache which unlocks after you've collected all 38 Typhon Logs across all planets
Each planet has a certain number of Typhon Logs scattered around the map, when you collect a certain number of logs on a planet you unlock the Typhon Dead Drop location for that planet which gives you a weapon cache, the Dead Drop contents scale to your level when you first open them so it's worth waiting to open them until you're at max level or close to it

The Pandora logs are spread across five zones and most of them are found early in the game:
The Droughts (3 Logs)
Log 1: Behind the billboard near the entrance to Ellie's Scrapyard. Look for a small shed with a Typhon symbol on the wall. Log 2: Inside the bandit camp on the east side of the map behind the vending machines. Log 3: On top of a water tower near the exit to the Splinterlands — climb up the ladder and it's on the platform.
Lectra City (3 Logs)
Log 4: On a balcony above the main street, accessible by jumping from the neon sign. Log 5: In a side alley behind a locked gate — the key is on a bandit body nearby. Log 6: On the roof of the building where you fight Killavolt, accessible after the boss fight.
Konrad's Hold (2 Logs)
Log 7: In a side room off the main corridor hidden behind some crates. Log 8: Near the exit to Ascension Bluff behind a destructible wall panel — shoot the vent cover to reveal the path.
Devil's Razor (2 Logs)
Log 9: Inside the bandit fortress in the center of the zone on a table in the command room. Log 10: Near the water treatment facility on a broken pipe that you have to jump across.

Log 1: Near the first Eridian writing you encounter in the campaign. Log 2: Inside the Maliwan dig site in a research tent. Log 3: On a mesa overlooking the Rampager's arena. Log 4: Hidden in a cave system near the edge of the map — look for glowing Eridian crystals marking the entrance.
Floating Tomb (3 Logs)
Log 5: In the first chamber of the Tomb area near the entrance. Log 6: On a floating platform that requires jumping across gaps. Log 7: Behind Graveward's arena in a small alcove — accessible after the boss fight.
Tazendeer Ruins (3 Logs)
Log 8: In the main building of the ruins on a desk. Log 9: Outside the building on a collapsed pillar. Log 10: In the sub-basement area behind a locked door — the key is on a nearby Guardian enemy.
Dead Drop Opening Strategy
The most important thing to know about Typhon Dead Drops is that they drop gear scaled to your level when you FIRST open them, not when you collect the logs, so you should NOT open the Dead Drops as soon as they unlock — wait until you're at max level or at least close to it to maximize the gear quality
The Nekrotafeyo Dead Drop is especially valuable because it gives a guaranteed legendary weapon with full Mayhem scaling if you wait to open it on Mayhem 10/11, this is one of the few guaranteed legendary sources in the game that doesn't require a boss kill, so saving it for endgame is a smart move if you need a starting legendary for your Mayhem 11 transition
The final Legendary Typhon Cache (unlocked after all 38 logs) gives a guaranteed legendary that can be any world-drop weapon in the game plus an exclusive Typhon-themed weapon skin that's account-wide, the weapon skin is honestly the real prize because it's a clean metallic gold and black pattern that looks good on any gun
Tips for Finding All Logs
The Typhon Logs are always marked by a distinctive Typhon symbol painted on the wall or ground near the location, keep an eye out for the bright yellow and purple paint marks as you explore, the audio cues also help — when you're near a Typhon Log you'll hear a faint audio of Typhon's voice talking and a pulsing glow effect on your mini-map
Use the map to check your progress on each planet, the map screen shows how many Typhon Logs you've found versus the total on that planet and marks approximate locations of uncollected logs, this is especially useful for planets like Pandora and Eden-6 where the logs are spread over multiple zones and it's easy to miss one in a corner you barely visited during the story
