Skill Tree Allocation
Okay so I went through like five different tree setups before settling on this and tbh the Demolition Woman tree is just where you live as Moze, 34 points here starting with Fire in the Skag Den at 5/5 for +15% incendiary damage on splash which stacks up way more than you'd think, Pull the Holy Pin at 5/5 for +30% grenade crit chance and critting grenades is honestly broken, Torgue Cross-Promotion at 5/5 for +8% splash radius and +12% grenade chance which makes your explosions cover like the entire screen, Short Fuse at 1/1 gives 30% chance for bonus explosive damage on splash and this is where the real damage comes from like it's the engine that makes the whole build work, secondary Shield of Retribution with 26 points, Drowning in Brass at 5/5 for +30% gun damage and +20% shield which is just solid all around, Vladof Ingenuity at 5/5 reduces shield recharge delay which keeps you alive, Tenacious Defense at 5/5 gives shield break = +40% gun damage which is kind of insane when you think about it, then tertiary Bottomless Mags with 10 points, The Iron Bank at 5/5 for +50% mag size because bigger mags = less reloading, Forge at 1/1 for 5% ammo regen per second which is literally infinite ammo for most weapons, Stoke the Embers at 4/5 for +16% incendiary damage and that's the build basically, you get the idea and honestly you could shuffle a few points around for preference but this is the core setup I've found works best after way too many hours of testing and dying and respecing and all that
So here's a mistake I made. I put points into Means of Destruction early on and it's actually not great for this build because the ammo return from splash is inconsistent and those points are much better in Pull the Holy Pin where they actually contribute to your damage. Learn from my pain.
Also. Matched Set is bait for this build. Skip it.
Gear Loadout
So for primary weapon the Flakker Torgue Shotgun is just a wall of explosions and each one triggers Short Fuse so the damage stacking is absurd, it destroys entire rooms and you farm it from Graveward and the run is super quick, secondary Plaguebearer Maliwan RPG fires homing projectiles and every kill spawns more projectiles, it clears entire rooms without you even aiming which is honestly hilarious, farm from Wotan but honestly worth the grind, tertiary Flipper Maliwan SMG with 9 projectiles all dealing splash damage constantly procs Vampyr heal so you're basically immortal while firing, it's just excellent general purpose and honestly could be your primary if you wanted, for class mod Mindsweeper makes grenades crit and creates micro-grenades on crit, the explosion stacking is just insanity and I love it, grenade is Cloning Maddening Tracker which is homing + clone + bouncing so you get 10+ hits per throw and a full heal through Vampyr instantly, this grenade is basically a full health potion on demand and I wouldn't run this build without it, for shield Plus Ultra for survival or Re-Volter for damage, Moze honestly needs less shield help than other hunters because Fortify skill provides plenty and you're healing through everything anyway, I usually go Re-Volter because more damage is more fun but Plus Ultra is definitely safer if you're still learning the playstyle or whatever
